This service we typically provide to corporate investors. Once a company has decided to grow by acquisitions, we typically work with the Executive Management to develop the appropriate acquisition strategy. This should happen in an early stage to make sure that in the acquisition process, precious time and resources will be used in the most efficient manner. In such a strategy development phase fundamental decisions to be taken are, if the intended acquisitions shall move the company horizontally or vertically along the value chain and in which geographic regions. Furthermore it is important to distinguish between acquisitions to consolidate a market and/or to diversify the company into new customer segments, services or products. The strategy planning is typically completed by a clear timing, activity and resources plan.
