The post deal phase is often underestimated and a dangerous source of failure in M & As and Investment cases. New shareholders—be it corporate or financial investors—typically have new requirements, often live a different culture and they have different values and mostly different future expectations. MNIP typically advises the investors with the concrete time and action planning and if desired with execution of the same. MNIP’s goal is to limit the clash of interests in the post deal phase to a minimum. Representatives of the investor, top executives and involved middle management need to be clear about their individual roles and responsibilities and they need to be clear about what and how to communicate in and outside the organization. Respective communication plans with a dedicated screen-play for all involved parties need to be defined early in advance and executed accurately.
